David Tennant's 2012 romantic comedy The Decoy Bride makes its UK cable and satellite debut on the Universal Channel this evening. The movie, which also stars Kelly Macdonald and Alice Eve, was previously available via Sky Box Office.

The Decoy Bride
David Tennant stars as James Arber, a pretentious English author who is due to marry the Hollywood superstar Lara Tyler (Alice Eve). But when their planned nuptuals are constantly interrupted by the paparazzi, Lara hits upon the idea of a secret ceremony on the remote Scottish island of Hegg, the setting of James' best selling novel. She also hires a local girl, Katie NicAoidh (Kelly Macdonald) to stand in for her in a fake ceremony to throw the press off the scent. But when the decoy catches the groom's eye, chaos reigns...

The film's writer Sally Phillips also co-stars in the film, along with Michael Urie, James Fleet and Dylan Moran. The movie was directed by Sheree Folkson and shot on location on the Isle Of Man and in Scotland.
