A second trailer has been released for the upcoming second season of Marvel's Jessica Jones and shows Hell's Kitchen's spikiest private investigator making little progress with her anger management. The new trailer looks back at events which led the eponymous superpowered heroine to this point while at the same time signposting towards what to expect when the series returns next month.
Season 2 will see Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, delving into her past to unravel the mystery behind her own origin story, from the death of her family in a car accident to the experimental procedures she endured to the source of her own powers. Jessica will also be dealing still with the emotional aftermath of vanquishing her tormentor from Season 1. Marvel have already announced that David Tennant will return as Kilgrave for unspecified episodes, but have not disclosed exactly how he will be back.
Also returning for season 2 are Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, Carrie-Anne Moss, joined by new cast members JR Ramirez and Janet McTeer. Melissa Rosenberg is back as showrunner and every episode has a female director.
All thirteen episodes of Marvel's Jessica Jones drop on Netflix worldwide on March 8th - International Women's Day 2018
