Costumes worn by David Tennant, Patrick Stewart, Judi Dench, Ian McKellan and Helen Mirren  will form part of a new exhibition launched by the Royal Shakespeare Company next year.

The Play's The Thing is a new exhibition celebrating the magic of Shakespeare on stage. It reveals the secrets and stories from over 100 years of theatre-making in Stratford-upon-Avon. Full of treasures from the RSC archive and museum collection, including rarely-seen props, exquisite costumes and original set designs, the exhibition will also be jam-packed with hands-on activities and digital interactives to spark your imagination.

It will be open daily from June 2016.
Priority booking for RSC Members and Supporters opens on 7 December 2015 with public booking opening on 22 February 2016.
