Egyptian Army Prepping Large-Scale Anti-IS Operation

Egypt is in the final stages of planning a large-scale campaign against the Islamic State in the Sinai, an Arab intelligence official told Breitbart Jerusalem.

The Egyptian army has mobilized tanks, APVs, as well as engineering and artillery units into the peninsula over the past few days, the official said, adding that the operation is poised to take place with coordination from Israel.
According to the Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty, Cairo is prevented from sending heavy weaponry into Sinai. However, given the two countries’ common enemy, Israel has been allowing that violation for the past few years so that Egypt can fight militants in Sinai.
“That clause has long ceased to be relevant” when it comes to fighting Sinai militants, the official said. “Israel understands [President Abdel Fatah] Sisi’s needs, and realizes that IS is a common enemy, therefore their operative cooperation is unprecedented at the operative level, with an Egyptian army backed by Israel’s intelligence.”

According to Egyptian military reports, IS has recently consolidated its control in northern Sinai, mainly in the Sheikh Zweid region, where it has planted landmines. At the same time, Egypt has deployed armored divisions to its south, as well as in the Rafah region.
The Sinai has become one of the region’s top IS zones. Two weeks ago, Breitbart Jerusalemreported that last month alone, 12 jihadists departed Gaza to join the Islamic State in the Sinai.

The recruitment of Gazan jihadists by IS in Sinai comes after a top jihadist official threatened in a recent exclusive interview on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” that it is only a matter of time before the Islamic State’s branch in the Sinai carries out a “big operation” in the Israeli resort town of Eilat and other parts of southern Israel.

Chinese and Russian warplanes have been increasingly aggressive intercepting U.S. military aircraft and patrolling near America’s West Coast, prompting the Air Force’s top combat officer to label their provocations one of his top worries.
Air Force Gen. Herbert “Hawk” Carlisle, who leads Air Combat Command, said in an interview with USA TODAY that meeting the challenge from the Russian and Chinese to flights in international airspace is essential but dangerous.
“Our concern is a resurgent Russia and a very, very aggressive China,” Carlisle said.

Both countries are intent on expanding their spheres of influence — Russia in eastern Europe and the Pacific with China focusing much of its effort over the disputed South China Sea.
“Their intent is to get us not to be there,” Carlisle said. “So that the influence in those international spaces is controlled only by them. My belief is that we cannot allow that to happen. We have to continue to operate legally in international airspace and international waterways. We have to continue to call them out when they are being aggressive and unsafe.”
The stakes are high. Aggressive intercepts of U.S. patrol planes run the risk of mid-air collisions that would escalate tensions among nuclear powers.
“Any accident that occurs while the U.S. military is playing cat and mouse with Russian or Chinese forces could escalate into a real fight,” said Loren Thompson, a defense industry consultant and military analyst at the Lexington Institute. “If it does, American victory is not assured, because U.S. forces are operating thousands of miles from home and the other side is near its main bases. Small confrontations can turn into big wars, and Russian military doctrine embraces the use of nuclear weapons to win local conflicts."

An increasing number have occurred in recent months, Carlisle said, with fighters from Russia and China buzzing perilously close to American military aircraft.

The Pentagon has denounced the hazardous intercepts for more than a year, although condemnation hasn’t halted the practice. On May 17, two Chinese fighter jets flew dangerously close to a U.S. Navy patrol plane over the South China Sea. China has been on a campaign to assert its sovereignty over the busy waterways, building artificial islands on reefs in the sea and establishing military bases. In late April, a Russian fighter pilot performed a “barrel roll” over the top of an Air Force RC-135 reconnaissance plane, Carlisle said, above the Black Sea.

There has also been an uptick in long-range bomber activity from the Russians in Eastern Europe and extending to flights off the U.S. West Coast, Carlisle said.
“We have seen an increase,” Carlisle said. “All the way down to the California coast. The number and frequency has increased.”
“As they become more aggressive, you run the risk of miscalculation,” he said. “You don’t know where that’s going to lead, or end.”

One of the British Army units set to join a new European Union (EU) battlegroup prayed at a radical Islamist mosque just weeks ago, Breitbart London can reveal.

The 4th Infantry Brigade – otherwise known as the ‘Black Rats’ – were revealed by Breitbart London to have been part of an outreach project near their barracks in North Yorkshire which saw them praying at a mosque run by Tablighi Jamaat (TJ) operatives.
TJ, known to some as the ‘Army of Darkness’, is linked to a number of global terrorist atrocities including 9/11, 7/7, and the recent San Bernardino shootings. They are also linked to the Taliban.

And the unit will now report to the European Union under the direction of High Representative Federica Mogherini who is famed for claiming “Islam belongs in Europe”.
At the time, the 4th Infantry Brigade stated: “Brigade officers visit to the Zakaria Mosque. The officers were introduced to the ritual washing of hands, face and feet by Molana Farook Yunus, the project manager of Kumon Y’All, before entering the prayer room”.
Now the unit is set to join the ‘EU High Readiness Battlegroup’ which currently has troops from Sweden, Latvia, Finland, Lithuania, and Ireland as part of it.
The news will no doubt raise concerns as to the ‘Britishness’ of this British Army battalion – as it liaises with terror-linked mosques and answers to orders from the Council of the European Union in Brussels.
The news will also likely embolden EU referendum campaigners on the ‘Leave’ side of the debate.

Mike Hookem, a UK Independence Party Member of the European Parliament said: “EU flagged military vehicles on exercise on Salisbury Plain is stomach churning.”
“How can the government possibly claim this is nothing to do with having a standing EU Army?”
“This is a British Battlegroup preparing for readiness for an EU instructed conflict – it is a Brigadier who has sworn allegiance to Her Majesty taking orders from the EU’s High Representative, Federica Mogherini.”

A series of lookout posts have suddenly popped up along the Lebanon side of the border with Israel, apparently constructed by the Lebanese Army.

The watchtowers, which have appeared in the past month over the border between Kibbutz Rosh Hanikrah and Moshav Zarit, are a cause for concern for local residents, Ynet reported Sunday.

“From these locations it is possible to fire across the border and cause other sorts of trouble,” Erez Adar, head of security at Kibbutz Hanita, told Ynet. “It’s possible that at the moment this is a Lebanese army position, but we understand that in case of conflict they could quickly become Hezbollah positions.”

According to Ynet, the towers allow whoever is manning them to keep a close eye on IDF bases, the security fence that runs along the border, civilian roads and the numerous communities along the frontier.
There is concern over the fact that the towers were built so quickly, all within weeks, Ynet reported.
“A month ago there was nothing here,” said a Zarit resident. “One day they erected the tower and a few weeks later they put up the steps leading to it.”
One side of the tower has a view of the moshav and the other side overlooks the road leading to Zarit and other communities, as well as all military installations along the way.

“A similar position was established before the Second Lebanon War,” Naaman said. “It was designed for a fatal attack on the children of Shlomi on their way to school, and from there they planned a terrorist attack that killed seven soldiers and civilians,” he wrote.

“The IDF and the state should consider this position as an intention to plan an assault on the residents of Shlomi. The government and the IDF previously blew up all of Hezbollah’s positions, which would be a positive move and an action welcomed by all of the residents of the north.”

A new legislation is being introduced in the US House of Representatives aims which aims to improve Washington's efforts to counter «propaganda and disinformation» spread by Russia, China, and other countries.
The bill, H.R. 5181, called the Countering Information Warfare Act of 2016, comes amid growing calls in Congress and in many NATO capitals to do more to fight «foreign disinformation campaigns».
Sponsored by Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) who co-authored the bill alongside Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA), the new US legislation would, among other things, set up a Center for Information Analysis and Response to analyze «foreign government information-warfare efforts»
The center would also develop and disseminate «fact-based narratives and analysis to counter propaganda and disinformation directed at United States allies and partners». The bill, upon formal submission, would become one of at least two circulated in Congress in recent years seeking to change some US international-media operations. In April, the bill, called the Countering Information Warfare Act of 2016, S.2692, sponsored by Republican Senator Rob Portman and Democratic Senator Chris Murphy, was introduced in the US Senate.
The NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence (NATO StratCom COE) became functional in January 2014. Based in Riga, Latvia, it contributes to improved «strategic communications capabilities» within the Alliance and Allied nations. It’s main missions for 2016 include«Study how social media is being used as a weapon in hybrid warfare», «support the development of a NATO Military Committee Strategic Communications policy and doctrine» and other things related to information warfare.

The development of events scenario seemingly lifted whole from the pages of George Orwell’s 1984. With the experience of working for special services, Orwell wrote a book that served as a warning of what was to come. The author was blowing the whistle. The US is leading the race creating a new Ministry of Truth. NATO and the EU obediently join the effort in an attempt to launch a multi-layered and multilateral global brainwashing offensive.

“Earthquakes have been used distinctively by God to highlight some of the most important events of the Bible. The three main purposes for biblical earthquakes are judgment, deliverance, and communication. The lesson is obvious—God does not do anything really big without emphasizing it with an earthquake! In our fast-paced, man-centered, technology-based society of the twenty-first century, God would have us pause and consider His sovereign nature and the program He has been accomplishing in the world.” Steven A. Austin, PhD

The Bible is full of earthquakes, and studies of the floor of the Dead Sea show a 4,000-year history of significant earthquake events in Israel. The last days described in the Book of Revelation claim there will be a couple of other significant earthquake events, the last of which is described as the greatest earthquake in Earth’s history. There appears to also be a volcano event somewhere on the horizon.

The Jewish prophets made predictions about events that would occur during their time and many predictions about a future time, known as the last days and the time of Jacob’s troubles (the time of Israel’s troubles). Some of the prophecies indicate that earthquakes will become numerous and will happen in places that do not have much of an earthquake history.

There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. Luke 21:11 NIV

Like earthquakes, volcanoes get plenty of scriptural attention.

The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it. Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him. Nahum 1:5-6 NIV

I decided to research earthquake history between 1970 and 2015 with 5.0 magnitude or greater. They have doubled. As far as earthquakes in unusual areas, one needs look no further than Oklahoma. Oklahoma does have an earthquake history but not much. Oklahoma has now surpassed California as the earthquake capital.

Japan had two large earthquakes a week before Ecuador, and now the Japanese science community is concerned that the island community will split in two, or three or four. The quakes seem to be lining up and occurring more often. We have better sensors.
May 14-15, 2016, four days ago, five volcanoes simultaneously erupted: Pavlof (United States), Santa Maria (Guatemala), Kluchevskoy (Russia), Sinabung (Indonesia) and Nyiragongo (Congo). A “new” volcano is erupting off the coast of Oregon and several other places. There are more than 40 active volcanoes, which means there’s a lot of heat down there.

Mount St. Helen’s is acting up again as the magma plug increases in size. Kilauea has been erupting for decades.

I pray for the safety of my friends Mike and Julie. They are returning to Ecuador in a week to see how they can help. Ecuador had two more earthquakes today, a 6.7 and a 6.8.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Rome Saturday to march in protest against the European Union’s lax immigration policies and what they described as the “invasion” of Italy by migrants.

The demonstration began at a refugee welcome center in Piazza Vittorio, Rom, and as they marched, the protesters chanted, “Stop the invasion! This is my home!”
The marchers came to announce that “homelands, nations, borders and identities” are essential and cannot be erased “with a stroke of the pen,” according to Simone Di Stefano, a candidate for mayor of Rome and vice-president of the Italian political movement Casapound, which sponsored the event.
Referring to the migrant crisis, Di Stefano said that Italy “is no paradise and the people coming in are living at the margins of society with nothing to do. We would like to help these people, but in their home countries, by creating the conditions for them not to have to leave.”
Two thousand law enforcement officers were on hand to ensure the safety of the marchers from counter-demonstrators, and despite their presence some threw eggs at the marchers as they wended their way through Rome’s streets. A group of anti-fascist counter-protesters assaulted a van carrying German citizens, shattering its windshield and side windows with blows from motorcycle helmets.

Two marchers from National Youth, the young branch of the Brothers of Italy, were attacked “with helmets and batons by about thirty armed left-wing extremists,” according to a statement by the group, which denounced the assault as “a vile and intolerable act.”
Other counter-demonstrators shouted “Damn fascists” at the marchers, while waving a red flag with the image of Che Guevara on it.
