Filming on Broadchurch is continuing in West Bay this afternoon with both David Tennant and Olivia Colman both spotted on set outside the police station.

The final series of Broadchurch will focus on the impact of a serious sexual assault, and writer Chris Chibnall has been liaising closely with police and other agencies who specialise in sexual offences over the course of a year as he prepared the scripts. Arthur Darvill, Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan will also be returning to their roles, and the cast will be joined by Julie Hesmondhalgh, Lenny Henry, Sarah Parish and Roy Hudd, among others.

Broadchurch Series 3 is expected to air on ITV early in 2017.
