David Tennant will be amongst a host of stars taking part in a special charity celebration at Winchester Cathedral this December.

David will join his Broadchurch co star Olivia Colman at the event which has been organised to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Haven in Titchfield and The Murray Parish Trust.

The latter is a charity set up by David's friends, actress Sarah Parish and her husband, actor James Murray who founded the charity after they lost their first daughter Ella-Jayne to a congenital heart defect. It supports the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Southampton.

Sarah said of the event: "We are so lucky to have such big names supporting this event and we will be doing everything we can to ensure that this will be a night to remember to raise as much funds as possible for these two incredible local charities."

Also in attendance at the event on 7th December will be Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville and actor Timothy West CBE.

From September 600 tickets will be available.
