David Tennant, Faye Marsay and other stars of the new UK romcom You Me And Him walked the red carpet earlier tonight for the film's charity premiere in Birmingham. They were joined by co-stars Georgia Tennant (who also produced the film), Christian Brassington, Peter Davison and Tessie Orange-Turner, as well as Daisy Aitkens, the writer and director.

Other stars making an appearance at the event included Arabella Weir, Jimmi Harkishin, Ainsley Harriot and the cast of Doctors. The event was in aid of Baby Lifeline, a national charity providing vital support to expectant mothers and newly born children by providing equipment to hospitals and training for health professionals. David is among the celebrity ambassadors for the charity.

David, Georgia, Faye and Daisy later took part in a short Q&A session, chaired by Arabella Weir, following which the film was screened.

You Me And Him follows a year in the lives of a same sex-couple, one, Olivia (Lucy Punch), a high powered lawyer, the other, Alex (Faye Marsay) a pot-smoking layabout. When Olivia decides that the time has come for her to have a baby, the pair start to make some truly disastrous decisions, resulting in both of them becoming pregnant at the same time. David plays John, their neighbour, who is responsible for one of the pregnancies.

The film goes on general release in the UK on April 12th.
