David Tennant's new film, Bad Samaritan will have it's UK premiere at FrightFest 2018 in London this evening. The debut UK screening will take place at Cineworld in Leicester Square at 8.50pm. David will not be in attendance.
David Tennant delivers a chilling performance in Dean Devlin's horror thriller, as Cale Erendreich, a successful businessman whose psychotic predilections are uncovered by Robert Sheehan's hapless burglar, Sean Falco. Kerry Condon, Jacqueline Byers and Carlito Olivero also star.
Bad Samaritan follows a pair of parking valets, Sean and Derek, working a high class restaurant who have hit upon an ingenious scam for supplementing their income. While their patrons are inside dining, the pair use the cars' satnavs to locate the customers' homes so they can rob them. All is going well until they target the home of Cale Erendreich and Sean stumbles across a young woman held captive in his office and evidence that Cale has a liking for torture and murder. Sean tries to do the right thing and reports Cale to the police, but the only consequence is that the killer's attention is drawn towards him, his family and friends, and Cale now wants revenge! Bad Samaritan was written by Brandon Boyce and directed by Dean Devlin, who also produces for his own company, Electric Entertainment.
The film is released in selected UK cinemas on premium VOD tomorrow.
It will be released on DVD on 8 October and can be pre ordered from www.amazon.co.uk now.
