Stephen Mangan's hit comedy series Hang Ups is coming to Canada next week with the season premiere on CBC on Tuesday 18th September at 8.30pm ET/PT. Based on the American series Web Therapy created by Lisa Kudrow, Hang Up was developed by Robert Delamere and Stephen Mangan, who also stars as Richard Pitt. The show centres on Pitt, an unconventional therapist with a complicated family, whose life and work we follow through a series of webcam conversations with clients, family and friends.

The improvised show boasts a starry cast, which includes Richard E Grant, Celia Imrie, Katherine Parkinson, Karl Theobald, Charles Dance and Jessica Hynes, as well as cameos by Sarah Hadland, Lolly Adefope, Kevin Eldon, Ian Hart and many more. David Tennant appears as Martin Lamb, a restaurant cloakroom attendant with difficulties in social interaction, and will feature in episode two on Tuesday 25th September.
