Last week, the UK shoot for the BBC/Amazon co-production of Good Omens wrapped following four months of shooting in locations around London and Oxfordshire. The cult novel by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett is being adapted into a six-part series starring David Tennant as the demon Crowley and the angel Aziraphale respectively. The news was tweeted by  the official Terry Pratchett Twitter account:

All may have gone quiet on the filming front, but work is still continuing and pre-production is currently underway ahead of a month long shoot in South Africa during February and into early March. While most of the action takes place in the UK, fans of the book will be aware that a number of other scenes occur around the world, for instance, the first appearance of "Red" Zuigiber (War), and the angel and demon's first conversation at The Beginning. It is not clear which cast members will be involved in filming, but earlier this month at Wizard World New Orleans David Tennant told his panel audience that he was keeping Crowley's ginger hair for "...the next maybe two months".

Earlier today Neil Gaiman, who is acting as showrunner gave more of an indicator of the production timetable, stating in response to a fan enquiry that shooting would wrap in early March and post-production should complete by October.

Good Omens is scheduled for a worldwide release on Amazon Video early in 2019, with a broadcast on BBC Two later in the year. Distribution to networks in other countries has yet to be announced.
