David Tennant's new film, You, Me And Him is due to be released on 12 April in cinemas in the UK.
The film tells the story of two women’s differing experiences with pregnancy. One, Alex (Lucy Punch) is a 40-year-old magistrate, the other, Olivia (Faye Marsay) a carefree party girl. The twist is that they are in a relationship with each other. The action unfolds over a 12 month timeframe. David plays the role of the couple’s neighbour, John, a Casanova style character who is responsible for one of the pregnancies.
Fans in the USA have already had the chance to see the film after it premiered on Showtime in December last year. There have also been two recent screenings in Scotland, at the Glasgow Film Festival and the Festival Of Ideas in Kirkaldy.
Here's what fans had to say about it:
I expected @youmeandhimfilm to be funny. What I didn't expect was how moved I would be by the characters' journeys. Good laughs and a bit of a cry, too. Loved the film and hated to see it end.— Cynthia Church (@cbc56) March 19, 2018
