David Tennant Scheduled To Appear At DuckTales Signing At SDCC
David Tennant has been announced as taking part in the DuckTales cast signing at San Diego Comic Con on Friday 20 July.
The official website states that David will join his co stars Ben Schwartz, Kate Miccuci, Bobby Moynihan, Beck Bennett, Danny Pudi and Toks Olagundoye to sign autographs for fans.
Matt Youngberg, executive producer and Frank Angones, co-producer/story editor will also be in attendance.
There will be a DuckTales panel at 3.30pm the same day although David is not thought to be taking part in that as Matt Youngberg, co-producer/story editor Francisco Angones, art director Sean Jimenez, and Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Danny Pudi and Toks Olagundoye have all already been confirmed to be chatting to Entertainment Weekly’s Marc Snetiker about the latest season and showing off never seen before clips of the show.
Also not confirmed is David's appearance at the Amazon Prime panel which is also taking place at 3.30pm on 20 July. The two hour long panel will feature the first look at David's newest project Good Omens and will feature it's writer, creator and showrunner Neil Gaiman. The first ever footage from the eagerly anticipated series will also be shown.
Mike Benson of Amazon Studios Marketing explained the thinking behind the panel. "So many panels are all the same, and we're trying to make it just a better experience for the attendees who are there, keep it entertaining and reveal some news," he said. "We thought by putting different showrunners and different panellists on stage and releasing some clips and some moments from each of the shows that it’s going to be a different type of experience than just a typical panel and something Comic-Con attendees will really love."
Good Omens is one of Amazon's most hotly anticipated new series and boasts a huge cast of major worldwide talent including Adria Arjona, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean, Jack Whitehall, Sir Derek Jacobi, John Hamm, Daniel Mays and Nina Sosanya, plus many more. Set on the verge of the Apocalypse the series centres on an angel and demon who form a reluctant alliance to try to prevent the end of the world. Filmed on location in the UK and South Africa, Good Omens is set to premiere worldwide on Amazon in early 2019.
