Netflix have announced today that they are cancelling Marvel’s Jessica Jones. David Tennant was a regular throughout the first season of the show and guest starred in the second.
The news confirms that the third season, yet to drop, will be the last.
The drama tells the story of Jessica, who is haunted by a tragedy and settles in Hell's Kitchen, New York opening her own detective agency, only to discover the chilling source of her trauma has resurfaced.
Krysten Ritter starred as Jessica, a hard-drinking, superpowered private investigator, with her tormentor, the mind-controlling psychopath Kilgrave, played by David Tennant.
The series also stars Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss and Wil Traval. Marvel's Jessica Jones was created by Melissa Rosenberg based on the MarvelMAX comic book series Alias by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos.
